Building on the essence of the original Sunao collection, the Sunao Plant Pot Fat series introduces a distinctive shape that retains the recognizable Sunao silhouette but with a wider, lower profile. Sunao Plant Pots, are made of durable fiber concrete, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces. These planters are thoughtfully designed with a small drainage hole at the base and a matching saucer, ensuring optimal water flow and air circulation for plants.
Rooted in nature and shaped by hand, the Sunao Plant Pots bring a sense of calm and quiet beauty to gardens, patios, or spacious interiors. In soft Birch and deep Black finishes, each piece is formed from fiber concrete, hand-glazed to create a velvety matte surface that gently reflects the light. Fiber Concrete
Inspired by the Brutalism Architecture movement of the mid-20th century, fiber concrete has become the signature material of the 101 Copenhagen furniture collection. Emphasizing sculptural shapes, the texture of concrete creates a fine balance between sharp architectural lines and soft organic curves. Cast in lightweight fiber concrete, each product gets a unique tactile surface with small incorrections and nuances. The surface is afterwards coated, to create a strong and resistance product. Finally, the product is hand painted two times by brush, to create a brushed layered colour.
It is advised to avoid sharp objects as they can harm the surface of the product. The product cannot stand in extreme high temperature and sunlight for several months. High humidity levels can also cause the product to absorb moisture, causing it to become soft and fragile. When exposed to extreme heat or cold, the product may expand or contract excessively, causing it to break or become damaged.
If the products are used outdoor, we strongly advise in the winter season to use a waterproof cover to cover the product or take the product into indoor storage.
Maintenance:
For daily cleaning, a dry or wet cloth can be used to remove dust or dirt. However, cleaning products containing acid should not be used as they may harm the surface of the product.
