The Sphere collection has become synonymous with the visual language and the signature series of 101 Copenhagen. The series is a family of unique silhouettes and textures gathering in a decorative and sculptural manner. Elegantly sculpted, each vase is finished with an intricate ornate detailing. Inspired by ancient Chinese vases, a palette of faded earth tones is characteristic of the Sphere collection which was developed in close collaboration with highly skilled ceramists, ensuring the precise contrast between the smooth shapes and sharp edges.
Sphere Shisen is a new edition to the Sphere series, offering a unique detailed finish, with the attempt to create a unique surface of hundreds of small circles fading into a tactile pattern. Shisen is Japanese for a mesh or the way of seeing things.
As it is a hand glazed nature product, the colours may vary slightly and is meticulously glazed on the inside with a waterproof lacquer, ensuring that the vase is entirely waterproof.

Ceramics
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, we’ve been working for years with highly skilled ceramists to create a signature palette of natural faded earth tones and tactile finishes. Characterized by its complexity, ceramic is both robust and delicate, soft and crisp.
Coming from a high-quality fine clay, all ceramic products are made from mould and burned in oven. Afterwards each piece is hand painted by brush with up to four times, to achieve a soft brushed surface with a patinated texture like suede leather.
Offering endless possibilities, ceramic allows us to experiment with sculptural shapes in new and exciting ways, to create design with a high artistic value.
Maintenance:
The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight and extreme temperature conditions. Avoid high UV exposure. For daily cleaning, a dry or wet cloth can be used to remove dust or dirt. However, cleaning products containing acid should not be used as they may harm the surface of the product. It is also advised to avoid sharp objects as they can harm the surface of the product. The products are not waterproof therefore they cannot contain water.
