Description

In Japanese, Hikari means light, a word that whispers of warmth, purity, and presence. The Hikari Collection was born from this idea: that light is not only something we see, but something we feel, a soft companion to our spaces, a quiet rhythm in the air.

Each lamp captures the moment when light meets stillness. The opal glass shade, smooth and gently flattened, diffuses a glow as tender as dawn through mist. Behind it, a graceful trumpet form conceals the metal wall cup, a hidden gesture of craft and care. Three slender metal sticks hold the glass in place, poised like fine lines of balance that lend structure to serenity. An inbuilt LED light source, which has 25000 hours of light, is seamlessly integrated, preserving the lamp’s quiet form while providing warm, even illumination. This luminaire is compatible DALI lighting control systems. Can be implemented with existing DALI systems.

Equally suited for wall or ceiling mounting, the Ø24 Hikari is ideal for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms, or smaller rooms, either as a single understated feature or arranged in multiples to create rhythm and continuity. Hikari becomes part of the architecture itself, a hush of radiance that binds one space to another, bringing calm and cohesion to both intimate and open interiors.

Our lights are shaped around the luminous soul of hand painted opal glass, gently balanced by the quiet strength of hand-brushed plated aluminium. Together, these materials hold a harmony of warmth and clarity, strength and softness, each crafted finish enhancing both light and form.

Hand painted opal glass carries the touch of the maker. Layers of translucent pigment settle across its milky surface, creating subtle variations that come alive when illuminated. The light that passes through is diffused and tender, casting a calm, timeless glow that speaks of craftsmanship and care.

Hand-brushed plated aluminium offers a grounded presence beside the glass. Its fine linear texture and muted sheen reveal the precision of human touch, reflecting light with quiet movement and composure.

Opal White

Maintenance

Our lights are crafted with refined finishes that balance tactile warmth with timeless elegance. To preserve their beauty and ensure lasting quality, regular and careful maintenance is essential.

The hand-brushed plated aluminium should be cleaned with a soft microfiber cloth, removing dust gently along the direction of the brushing to maintain its subtle texture. For deeper cleaning, a slightly damp cloth with mild, pH-neutral soap may be used, followed by a dry wipe. Avoid abrasive pads, acidic solutions, or metal polishes, as these can damage the plated surface and alter its refined appearance.

The opal glass requires gentle care. It can be lightly dusted with a microfiber cloth or cleaned with warm water and mild soap if accessible. Always dry immediately with a lint-free cloth to prevent water marks, and avoid ammonia-based cleaners or abrasive sponges, which may scratch or dull the finish. Though protected inside the lamp, the glass should still be handled with care during installation or maintenance to prevent damage.

For both materials, always switch off and unplug the lamp before cleaning. While suitable for use in bathrooms, the light should not be exposed to direct water jets or full immersion. With simple, regular care, the hand-brushed plated aluminium will retain its contemporary elegance, and the opal glass will preserve its soft, radiant glow, ensuring the lamp remains refined and timeless for years to come.
